Born and raised in Napoli, Salvatore and Alessandra met, married, and began their life together surrounded by the food, traditions, and hospitality of Southern Italy. In 1995, they moved to Southern California, bringing those traditions with them and building years of experience in the restaurant industry. Since life started for them in Los Angeles, Salvatore and Alessandra had the pleasure of having three children, Angelo, Gabriella, and Giulia. 

In 2012, our family’s story with Café Solé began. After years of dreaming of having a restaurant of their own, Salvatore and Alessandra took over Café Solé, with their son Angelo growing up alongside the family business. Their dream became a reality—a family-run Neapolitan trattoria centered around food made from scratch, genuine hospitality, and the flavors they grew up with in Napoli.

From Salvatore’s cooking and freshly baked bread, to Alessandra’s homemade desserts and warm hospitality, to Angelo taking what he has learned from them and help guide Cafe Sole into the future. Our restaurant has always been about doing things personally and doing them with care. More than a decade later, that same philosophy remains at the heart of everything we do.

Today, Salvatore, Alessandra, and Angelo continue that story together—honoring the traditions that built Cafe Sole while carrying them forward for the next generation.
